The name Calca 82 was derrived from the scientific name for the barramundi ‘Lates Calcarifer’. The goal was to produce a mid sized, broard body suspending jerkbait aimed squarely at the iconic Australian barramundi. The design and engineering process was meticulous to deliver a tight fast swimming action on heavy leaders commonly used when chasing these powerful pradators.
